This cleanse was awesome. I got pregnant with #4 and, although I worked out my entire pregnancy, I didn’t eat very clean. After baby, like a year after baby, I was still struggling. Every time I tried to get back on track the wheels would fall off again. THEN came the day Eva asked for volunteers to try her cleanse. “YES!”, I thought. This time I was ready. I felt awesome through the cleanse…days of only veggies/soup veggies (3,4,5) were, at times, tough, but I made it though!! I actually felt my very best on day 7! So much energy…I remember I noticed it…I felt so good. This led me into our CrossFit gyms Paleo challenge. It was actually perfect. I’d like to mention also that I had NO sugar withdrawals. Prior to the cleanse I was struggling with removing dairy from my diet, and also falling into frequent sugar and corn cravings. I eat generally eat a clean diet, however I work at an overnight children’s camp for the summer…you caught me during my bumpy transition in getting my body away from camp food like dairy. Post “7-DAY FILTER DIET” I have not returned to dairy, and I’m VERY happy about that. I am more conscientious about chewing my food, and have become aware when I’m eating “emotionally vs nutritionally” by my chewing (or the lack there of). I am more aware of what, why and when food serves my being. I did some of the reflection exercises, which I found useful.
I read the program several times, and had planned on shopping and starting the cleanse, and then my body got sick. I didn’t have the energy or initiative to go shopping, and decided the illness was a beginning of a body cleanse…so I simply “went for it”, using the food I already had at home. I did follow the format of servings (on specific days) regarding categories like grains, fruits, soups, fats, veggies, no dairy, etc.. I didn’t use any of the specific recipes you shared, though I took the concepts and created meals with the recommendation. I drank water and herbal tea, I did not drink the cleansing water, as I did not have those ingredients on hand. I also found I can sustain on health soups longer than I thought possible, and enjoy it! Thank you for the invitation to join this group.

My digestion improved during the cleanse, and I’ve been working to keep some of the principles in practice even now (more veggies and legumes). I completed the cleanse and it was great I did have a hard time on the days it was just soups, but I muscled through it and I feel great! Thanks?
